Is hemp legal?
Yes. The Agricultural Improvement Act of 2018 removed hemp from the Controlled Substances Act, making it federally legal to possess and consume in the United States. Amoha Living LLC is licensed by the state of Oregon to handle hemp.
What is the difference between hemp and marijuana/cannabis?
Hemp (or “industrial hemp”) is the same plant species as Cannabis with one main key difference. Industrial Hemp varieties are cultivated to produce less than .3% delta-9 THC on dry weight basis. All of our products are made with industrial hemp. For a more detailed explanation of the difference, click here.
Will hemp products make me high?
The abundant cannabinoids in our products and flower are CBD/CBG/CBC. These compounds do not produce intoxicating effects. Currently all of our products use full spectrum oil, meaning that there is a trace amount of THC (<0.3%) but this amount is not enough to produce intoxicating effects when taken at the suggested dose.
Topicals will never produce any type of intoxicating effect, because the cannabinoids act locally and never reach the blood stream, regardless of the potency.
How do I know what my dosage should be?
There has not been enough research published to definitively say the specific mg needed for each specific type of ailment. Each person’s journey with hemp products is a personalized exploration, and leads to varying preferences. When consuming hemp products orally, the tried and true route is typically to start low and slow and work your way up as you see fit, starting around 10mg. If you have any questions regarding interactions with any medications, consult your medical health provider.
If I consume hemp will It show up on a urine/drug test?
Full Spectrum Hemp products can have anywhere from 0% to 0.3% delta-9 THC. While this amount is small, with frequent use of hemp products, specifically smoking flower, it is possible that it may be detected in a test. If you are concerned about drug testing, consider using products that are completely THC-free/made from CBD isolate. We hope to offer products of this variety soon. Use of topicals, or products with non-detectable THC levels should not show up on a drug test.

Consult your healthcare provider if you are taking any prescription medications before using hemp. We want all of our clients to feel fully safe, informed, and empowered as they begin their hemp journey.
